repliery

Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 August 2026

repliery is used by businesses to reply to their own customers automatically. This describes what happens to a phone number that passes through it.

What we hold, and why

For a consumer: the phone number they contacted a business from, anything that consumer chose to include in a message or a contact form, a record of the messages exchanged, and the time and duration of any call that was forwarded. We hold this so the business can see who tried to reach them and reply.

For a business using repliery: the account holder's name and email address, the business's legal registration details, and the billing records for their account. Registration details are required by US mobile carriers before a business is allowed to send text messages at all, and are passed to them for that purpose.

Text messages

A consumer's number reaches us only because they contacted a business directly — by calling its published number, texting that number, or entering their number into that business's own contact form. We do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from anyone.

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are used only to provide the communication service the consumer requested. Service providers may process this information only under our instructions to deliver that service and may not use it for their own purposes.

Message frequency varies based on the consumer's interactions with the business and the follow-up sequence that business has configured.

Replying STOP to any message stops them. So does REVOKE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or any other clear request to stop, sent to the number that messaged you or made in any other reasonable way. Replying HELP returns contact information.

Message and data rates may apply, set by the consumer's own mobile carrier.

Calls

A call to a number provisioned through repliery is forwarded to the business's own phone. Calls are not recorded and not listened to. We keep only the calling number, the time, and how long the call lasted.

How long we keep it

Lead and message records are held for as long as the business's account is open, because the point of the product is that a lead is not lost. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

A business closing its account can ask for its records to be deleted. A consumer can ask the business they contacted, or us directly, for their own record to be deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to it being processed. Ask and we will do it. We do not sell personal information.

Contact

Email privacy@repliery.com. Questions about a specific business's messages are best sent to that business, but we will answer either way.
